Greetings,

Well I have just finished my first tarot class with my first two students.  The class had glowing reviews and I am feeling very positive about the ability to help people on their journey to enlightenment. 

I have been up all night putting the finishing touches on the class and freting about if it is right or not.  Haha.  Seems to be ok!

Funny thing is I got out tons of decks to show my class and both students were so interested in the Vision Quest!  This turned out to be a favorite and they both did spreads with it and enjoyed using it.  I was happy to see this, I think the deck liked getting attention for once!

Well I am off to try to design a new picture for the top of the website.  The old one is just..well old and crusty.  Will be writing more soon when I am not crazy busy and I now have more class information to work on.  Also notice I finally fleshed out the classes section so it is user friendly and easy to see what is covered.  These classes can be conducted in person or via chat.

Hello!

 Oh it has been so long since I have written.  I am working on sewing about a zillion tarot bags and cloths for a friend and me.  I have been trying to slowly author a tarot class for WitchSchool.  I am studying many decks and still working on creating my own.  The Tarot of Woof.  I have mostly been scribbling down ideas for breeds and what I want each picture to look like but I sure need to get drawing on those.

 I have noticed in the past few months how much certain decks seem to draw or push people away.  It seems at present my most popular deck is the Shadowscapes.  This one was a recent acquirement and I notice that people love it.  I find readings requested with love, family and all other manners of the heart with this deck.  It is soft and gentle and the readings reflect that.  However I also get very no-nonsense readings as well.  I think its soft colors, swirling art and esoteric feel give it a magical quality.

Now I also have taken notice that many people seem to be uncomfortable with my Buckland Romani.  This surprises me as I really love this deck and I get clear and precise readings from it.  However general consensus as it has yet to be picked voluntarily is that it makes people “uncomfortable”.  I find this interesting.  It is very male and based with the gypsies which are both mystical and notorious.  I rather enjoy the deck and if you request I am sure you will too! 

Another recent acquisition has been the Kanzalar Tarot.  I used to have this..decided to trade it and years later I decided I wanted to try it again.  I opened it up, took a look and immediately remembered why I didn’t like it.   I for some reason have a terrible time connecting with this deck.  I am not sure if it is the deeper Christian themes that I don’t quite understand, the colors or design but I have a tough time with it.  I will be selling this deck to the best buyer.  Preferably someone looking to read with it.  I think decks should be read with and not put on shelves.

Some decks have been surprising me lately.  Most so would be Fantastical Menagerie and The Stone Tarot.  Both of these decks I have not used since I bought them.  I just never have the desire with The Stone Tarot though I find it beautiful and the Fantastical Menagerie just seemed strange.  I decided I was going to sell them off but wanted to give them a chance to read first.  I concentrated to them that this was the time to perform and prove yourself or be sent on your way, both decks performed amazingly.  The readings I got were incredibly clear and almost conversational.  They helped me tune right in and open my mind.  Needless to say though shocked by this, I found them a permanent place in my Tarot trunks and actually find myself getting them out on a regular basis.

 Other than that I am going to be opening up a Tarot Training to those interested.  They will need to inquire with me on this training as we will be working one on one with each other through chat to train and open your psychic side.  This will include card meanings for Major and Minor arcana, how these cards work together in combinations, spreads…how to use them and how to invent them.  How to use your cards for spirit contact, how to become a professional reader/psychic.  Getting in touch with your spirit guide and using the cards to open your psychic senses.  This will be a fun interactive class.  Suggested homework will be given.  Class will go at students pace to an extent but contact will need to be made 3 times a week.  Again if you are interested, let me know!

 That is all for now.  I will be writing again and am thinking of opening more detailed blogs about decks then cards.  Look forward to doing readings and tarot work in the future.
